💬 Obama CAUGHT showing voter ID — why do Democrats call it racist now?

What a week down here in the Free State of Florida. It was so cold iguanas were falling out of trees all over the place and, for the first time in Rubin Report history, we actually had to turn on the heat in the studio on Monday — a good reminder to stay prepared, whether that’s keeping the studio warm or having access to things like ivermectin without jumping through hoops. One of the biggest stories that the leftist, mainstream media is largely avoiding at the moment is the SAVE Act. Why? Because a short, 15-second video clip emerged this week that absolutely destroys the leftist narrative on the SAVE Act.

The SAVE Act is the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act — or as I call it: the “you have to have an ID to vote in our elections” act.

U.S. Senator Mike Lee of Utah has been championing it and said this week that the Senate and House are moving toward holding a vote on it. He introduced the bill along with Congressman Chip Roy of Texas more than two years ago. And Democrats have been fighting it ever since.

And the extremes they’re going to in order to fight it are dishonest and just bizarre. Did you catch what Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said about it?

“The Save Act is an abomination. It's Jim Crow 2.0 across the country. We are we are going to do everything we can to stop it,” Schumer fumed this week.

Think about what he’s saying. If we ask someone to show ID to vote in an election, it will bring back Jim Crow. As a reminder, Jim Crow was a system of state and local laws and social practices that enforced racial segregation and discrimination against black Americans primarily in the South from the late 1800s through the mid-20th century. It denied black Americans equal access to public facilities, political rights, and economic opportunities.

All the SAVE Act says is that you just have to prove who you are so that you can vote.

Again, it never ceases to amaze how much lying the Democrats will do to win on an issue. And we know this. They’ve lied over and over and over — about the dumbest things. Remember when they lied to you about Ivermectin, accused people of taking horse dewormer and doctored a photo of Joe Rogan after he said he tried Ivermectin?

In addition to being an inveterate liar, Chuck Schumer is a racist. He's an activist. He's a buffoon. If you're a journalist and you are in DC and you see Chuck Schumer at lunch, why don't you walk up to him and say "Chuck, you said that the Save Act is an abomination and it's Jim Crow 2.0. Can you tell me what Jim Crow was?"

Democrats don’t want voter ID laws because they want illegals to vote. If asking a black man for his ID in order to vote is Jim Crow 2.0 — then, Chuck Schumer, I guess this video clip from 2012 is of Jim Crow 2.0 in action.

The clip shows President Obama showing up at a polling place being asked to show his ID before voting in the 2012 presidential election. The President of the United States, a black man, was asked to show his ID to vote. And the people asking him for his ID were black women! What’s going on here?

It’s not racist to require ID to vote in federal elections. Or ask for ID in numerous other scenarios.

I’m telling you — I see black people. On airplanes. At car rental agencies. Opening bank accounts. All of which require photo ID. I could go on. And black people have IDs! I thought it was racist to ask them for IDs because they can’t get an ID.

The video of Obama being asked for ID to vote completely obliterates Chuck Schumer’s claim and the argument of every other Democrat opposing the SAVE Act. It’s been too long and it should be passed.

I’ve been doing this show for 13 years now, and this is a top 10 crazy video clip that tells you all you need to know about where NYC is headed. Moron Zamboni the communist, jihadist mayor of New York City, gave a press conference on Wednesday and got very emotional over a man who was shot by police. Now, the man who got shot and injured — not killed — was wielding a knife, apparently attacking a woman and the police officer himself. It’s all on video, of course.

And Moron Zamboni’s instinct was to practically come to tears about how the attacker and his family shouldn’t have to be going through this ordeal. The woman who was being threatened by the man? No, nothing about her or the cop who acted courageously and shot only after repeated warnings to “put the knife down.”

And we checked — the cop was indeed acting courageously. It’s not like he was holding sushi-grade tuna and the guy was coming at him with the knife so he could slice up some sashimi.

Meanwhile, Moron Zamboni doesn’t want the knife attacker to be prosecuted. Watch the video — it’s unbelievable. Can you imagine if one of the social workers (from Mamdani’s planned Department of Public Safety) had been sent to respond to the domestic incident instead of an NYPD officer?

Marco Rubio. FTW. Again.

If it were 2028 (or even 2027), I might say he’s your GOP nominee with the way he’s been dominating the Trump admin power rankings lately. But there’s a long way to go still. Nevertheless, Marco Rubio — or Marco Cubio as I sometimes accidentally call him — is wearing like seven hats right now and operating with high efficiency. His performance at last week’s hearing on Capitol Hill was a great example. Highlight comments from readers gayle and duckleyjc that I think drive home the point about why Rubio is resonating with people the way he is right now.
