đź’¬ The Rubin Recap, Issue 14

Howard Stern is set to be canceled, ICE is getting ready to open the 'Speedway Slammer' and Big Balls unlocks hero status for saving a woman who was being assaulted ...

3 stories to know about today

Dave’s off the grid, but his Rubin Report team is still on and back with a few news stories that caught our attention this week. Dave will be back with a brand-new season of The Rubin Report beginning on September 2 — which will be here before you know it.

Here we go:

  1. It’s finally happening. Howard Stern is reportedly getting canceled by SiriusXM. Apparently, calling half the country idiots for 8 years isn’t great for ratings. Who knew?! Stern’s off the air and probably rage-quitting with Beetlejuice as we speak. Pour one out … or don’t.

  1. Also breaking: A guy literally named Big Balls (real name Ed Coristine, but who cares?) just saved a woman from an assault in DC. Hero status unlocked.

  1. And in totally normal government news, DHS is building a new migrant detention center in Indiana, and they're calling it ... wait for it … The Speedway Slammer. Sounds like a Six Flags ride. And yes, it’s the sequel to Alligator Alcatraz. It’s a crazy world.

That’s it for now — see ya later this week.
