Happy Friday! T-minus three days until Dave returns from the grid. And there will be plenty for him to catch up on come next Tuesday. We’ve been holding down the fort, so this is your last update until Dave is back in the studio next week, and goes back to sending the newsletter on Fridays. 1. Minneapolis shooter’s disturbing manifesto revealed: The Minneapolis suspect is a 23-year-old male transgender who identified as a female. The shooter posted a disturbing 11-minute video on social media before the attack. Notes scrawled on his weapons read: “Kill Trump Now!,” “McVeigh,” “Burn Israel,” and “6 million was not enough.” He even used a picture of Jesus as a target for practice. Chilling.

2. Minneapolis mayor mocks prayer: Mayor Jacob Frey brushed off prayer for the Minneapolis victims as “impotent,” demanding political action instead — despite already being in charge, with his party running the whole state. Awkward moment of self-awareness: zero.

3. Cracker Barrel drops the woke act: After massive boycotts, Cracker Barrel is cutting off funding for Pride events and scrubbing the “woke propaganda” from its website. A big win for customers tired of politics with their pancakes.
